About This Site

This short 6-page site, an Introduction to Writing about Graphs, was created for an assignment in USQonline's Introduction to Web Publishing.

The big difference between this 6-page site (all the pages with this green lined background) and my other pages is that is was 'hand-written' - i.e. without using FrontPage or any other editor. Just Notepad, and some sweat and tears!

There is more information and many more examples of graphs on my site at www.writefix.com/graphs. You can also see my main site at writefix.com. It has links for English learners, particularly for PET and TOEFL, and has some activities for ICDL, the International Computer Driving Licence. I hope they are useful. But mainly it is to help me to learn how to do a proper site, so expect some bugs!

What's next?

I have lots of plans for the next major USQonline assignment. This site needs some quizzes, and I hope to do these with Hot Potatoes or using some forms and some Javascript. It also needs some better graphics, so I might try some basic Flash or Swish.

Another plan is to do a new project on writing Cause and Effect essays - the bane of many English students, and particularly for ESL or EFL students. So please come back to www.writefix.com for new stuff!

It's up and running! See argument essays here!
