In biologic field, animal testing has been practiced for centuries. And so far, those experiment have brought a great biologically advance to both human and animal life. Some people, however, claim that human should not do such a cruel and immoral things like that. This essay will analyze the necessity of animal experiment but it must be strictly controlled and limited.
Using samples in biologically experimental research is inevitable. Without the samples, the research could not continue. The samples will let the scientists know whether their new medical therapy is effective or not, for example. With no choice, animal, such as a monkey, are the most similar biology to human bodies which is the most suitable sample for the test. People so that don’t have to be suffered if the new cure give adverse result.
However, the animal testing must be strictly controlled and limited. It is human morality to care for animal right. Scientists should keep in mind that animals have feeling like human beings. They can have pain like us and don’t want to be tested like that. For instance, the detrimental result would definitely bring them great suffering. Moreover, wild life is valuable and limited resource that we should protect and reserve. To rise one kind of it, it takes a long time and other resources, e.g. Our next generations may not be able to see or learn it as if it is extinct.
Animal testing, in conclusion, is currently undeniable for significantly biological advance, but it should be strictly controlled and limited. And human would better find other solutions in the near future to avoid committing this painful test.
