People naturally resist making changes in their lives. What kind of problems can this cause? Which solutions can you suggest?

_____________________________________________________________________________________

It is in human nature to be afraid of changes because of uncertainty and possible bad outcomes. However these fears can make life more difficult and boring. In this essay I will identify problems, which are caused by changes resistance, and offer some solutions.

The main negative result of such refusal to make changes is lack of new emotions. Most people do the same things every day and do not experience any significant changes in business and social life for years. As a result people get bored, lose interest for daily activities and become unsatisfied with their way of living. I think the most obvious solution is to start from small changes, for instance to start a new hobby or meet new people. It introduces new emotions and feelings.

Next negative point of being afraid of changes is missed opportunities. For example some people lose their chance to get better job or education just because they do not brave enough to make life-changing decision. This would lead to constant regrets in the future. Perhaps in this case the best solution will be to analyze all risks. If people took all risks into consideration it would be much easier to take advantage of the opportunity.

The third negative point is a high level of stress when people have to change something in their life. One of consequences can be even problems with health. To avoid them I can recommend not to be nervous and not to think about changes in negative way.

In summary, it is very common to be afraid of changes and most people feel in the same way. However life can be more interesting and full of events if there will be some changes from time to time.
