Hi Youtthasack

I’ve been thinking about ways of making it easier to find topics and search for older essays, but the application software I am using doesn’t seem to support tag clouds or categories.

  • Search:  in the search box, type a word, e.g. “childhood” or a phrase e.g. “economic development” (use quotation marks for phrases.
  • Use Tags: In the Argument and Essay forum, click on Tags for each essay. Clicking on a tag, e.g. “childhood” will open a list of essays with that tag.
  • Browse:  go back page by page in the Argument and Opinion Essays Forum

Perhaps in future we can filter by category, e.g. Technology, Families, Education, etc., but for now I hope these three approaches help. In the meantime, I've added a new heading called Popular Tags.

Don’t forget the many other sample essays on the Writefix site. Click on the Writefix logo or ‘Home’ and then click on New Essays or Essay List: Older. These essays are mostly by teachers, rather than students. Some are a bit long, but most are aimed at IELTS Band 6 -7.
