(0 votes) Money is supposed to be significant for some people, and they work to earn money because they need it to live on. However, for others people, working for a job is not merely for money, but for passion and for contribution.
Passion is the bond between workers and their job. Although people believe that potential money-making jobs can attractive a lot of people, some people still quit the job because of fatigue. For instance, since a teacher cannot find his or her motivation in teaching kids, he or she is not able to be a good teacher. In this case, passion is extreme essential; it propels the teacher to make a great effort to accomplish noble duty of a teacher. Moreover, attaching to a disinteresting career can lead to unexpected consequences. An example, as the depression, which comes from the job, is stretched through a whole life of a worker, he or she will lose all their goals and only focus on making money. For that reason, he or she could do everything to earn money regardless of expedient, including crime.
Contribution can be considered as a reason of connection between workers and their jobs. For example, although there are so many volunteer works (such as charity, take care of elder people, teaching orphan, etc.), which do not pay for the volunteers, people are still willing to try their best to achieve the goal. Furthermore, there are many enterprises have low or inapposite salary, but require passion and effort to fulfil the mission. The police man and the soldier, for example, are who receives an average salary every month, but he is responsible for the most high-risk mission: protecting citizen, encounter dangerous armed crime. If they complete the mission, they will be honored, but if they fail, they will pay for failures: their life.
After all these reasons, people can build up may more and more motives for their reason of working. Nonetheless, the most importance are passion and contribution; these are two keys that can open the door of happiness and wealthy. Let’s end up by citing a quote of Bobby Unser, a Retired Car Racer: “Desire! That’s the one secret of every man’s career. Not education. Not being born with hidden talents. Desire.”
